Eurogamer: Don't hold your breath for it being at this year's Tokyo Game Show. AWOL PlayStation exclusive The Last Guardian didn't turn up during Sony's Gamescom press conference this week. Were we expecting it? Perhaps not. But we had hoped for the Team Ico title to perhaps show up at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2014. Alas, it doesn't sound like it'll be there, either.

Ever since The Last Guardian was revealed to be in-development (2007), gamers around the world have been looking forward to getting their hands on this action-adventure puzzle game, the spiritual successor to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. When we saw the 2009 year E3 trailer for the game, most of us expected to see the game released within the next year or so, as it was supposedly set to become available for purchase in 2010. Oddly enough, the year passed quickly with a number of video games making their mark on the year, The Last Guardian was not one of them.
